Eminem elogia os magnatas da música Dr. Dre e Jimmy Iovine em um novo trailer da série documentária da HBO The Defiant Ones. “Jimmy Iovine é o levitador, Dre é o inovador,” diz o rapper Eminem.
“The Defiant Ones” explora as parcerias de negócios improváveis porém rentáveis do Dr. Dre e Jimmy Iovine e o grande impacto na cultura pop, tendo entrevistas com artistas como Bono, Nas, Ice Cube, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg e Trent Reznor do Nine Inch Nails. Allen Hughes (Menace II Society) dirigiu o documentário de quatro partes, que estréia no dia 9 de julho na HBO.
O trailer mostra fragmentos de segmentos incluindo a hilariante descrição do Bono sobre o Iovine: “Jimmy é como um vírus que entra no sistema sem ser convidado.” Por outro lado, Dre reflete sobre a sua batalha no rap, observando: “Eu estava realmente determinado a ser um sucesso.
