DJ Lethal é talvez o motivo principal por essa treta do Limp Bizkit com o Eminem. Começou quando Eminem tinha marcado de fazer uma música com o DJ Lethal, até que o Lethal comentou sobre a rivalidade entre Eminem e Everlast. Lethal disse que se eles brigassem, Eminem ganharia com suas letras apenas, mas na porrada, Everlast ganharia qualquer tipo de batalha. Eminem responde a esse comentário na faixa “Girls”, que é uma faixa bônus do CD “Devils Night” do D12.
Tem um verso que fala, “pô cara, era pra ser naquela música/ falando o quanto você o odeia/ agora você tá todo em cima dele/ o que foi?/ E Fred/ você disse que estava zuando ele também/ eu deveria ter me tocado e não ouvido você/ sua mariquinha/ falando de como as pessoas te odeiam/ eles não te odeiam/ eles só acham que você é brega porque a Christina brincou com você…”. No MTV Video Music Awards 2001, Fred Durst deu a mão quando o Eminem passou, só que o Eminem continuou andando e deixou o Fred no vácuo. Esse episódio também é relatado na música “Girls”
