The Wash é um filme de comédia de estilo hip hop escrito e dirigido por DJ Pooh e estrelado por Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg e DJ Pooh, com participações de Eminem, Ludacris e Xzibit. O filme foi lançado no dia 16 de novembro de 2001.

A HISTÓRIA

Sean (Dre) e Dee Loc (Snoop) são companheiros de quarto que não pagaram o aluguel, e receberam um aviso de despejo em 3 dias de seu locador.

Para piorar a situação, Sean acaba de perder seu emprego na Foot Locker, devido à interferência de Dee Loc, então Dee Loc sugere ao seu companheiro de quarto passar pelo lava-rápido onde ele trabalha e preencher uma ficha para o trabalho lá. Sean é imediatamente contratado como assistente de gerente, sendo que o Chris (Eminem) foi despedido no dia anterior.

Apesar do Dee Loc ter o restante do dinheiro para o aluguel (por causa de seu negócio a parte de tráfico de drogas), ele se recusa a pagar, insistindo que Sean precisa ser responsável, e dar um jeito de conseguir a sua metade do dinheiro.

Sean da o seu melhor para impressionar o Sr. Washington (George Wallace), o proprietário do lava-rápido, para que ele possa segurar o seu trabalho o tempo suficiente para conseguir a sua metade do aluguél.

No início, as coisas vão bem, mas logo, Dee Loc é visto nas fitas de segurança roubando, o Sr. Washington diz ao Sean que ele tem que decidir o que fazer, que inclui mandar embora o seu companheiro de quarto.

Sean tenta ajudar Dee Loc agir de forma mais responsável, mas isso cria atrito entre eles.

O Sr. Washington é sequestrado por dois bandidos armados e sem noção (um dos quais é interpretado por DJ Pooh), que faz uma ligação ao lava-rápido com as suas exigências, sem se dar conta que existe identificador de chamadas, o que revela a sua localização.

Ao invés de chamar a polícia, Sean e Dee Loc colocam de lado as suas diferenças para resgatar o seu chefe.

A situação se agrava, quando o ex assistente de gerente, Chris, aparece, querendo vingar-se do Mr. Washington por ter demitido ele.

Chris dispara contra um dos sequestradores e depois enche o lava-rápido de tiros, até acabar a munição. Sean ataca o Chris, mas perde a batalha e cai pro chão.
